This truly is an outstanding sword swinging master swordsman story. Yet, he regrets having to kill, even a diff, who after all is a human. Not altogether easy to take toward the end for younger readers as they are overtones of 'holocaust' type repression, suppression and usurpation of the human (and diff) spirit. Still, the story exemplifies the best of why the individual must stand forthrightly and fight the above. A true Hai Jikai! The story also is found here.
